New Calamateur album out now!!!

So here it is…my new album!!!

Five boxes full of these CDs arrived at my house a few days ago –  and so the next step in making this album begins – trying to sell it!

It’s been a long, long time since I started the process of writing, playing and recording this album. I’ve had a lot of help from a lot of people, and because of that I’m pretty sure this is the best music I’ve ever made.

To hold it in my hands now and see the beautiful artwork by Derek Steele, the amazing 16-page booklet designed by Al MacInnes, to hear the gorgeous production by Iain Hutchison (not to mention some pretty remarkable musicianship from Lewis Gordon, Mark Hilditch, Jo Mango & Phil Moir) …

…and to know that I actually have something to sell now that accurately reflects where I am both musically and personally….well, it’s very exciting!!

Downloads of the album will follow, as will a full-on ‘proper’ release, but for now I just have to sell some of these CDs!

Collaborators 4: DUFI

DUFI are, in their own words,

I’ve known Al & Fin for a few years and my life is much richer for it. They are both incredibly talented, generous people and, together and alone, produce amazing artwork.
